SHRI ABDUL RASHID SHAHEEN (BARAMULLA): I would like to draw the attention of the Government towards the agonising situation of the unemployed boys and girls of Kashmir, especially the border areas of Baramulla constituency. Keeping in view of the disturbing security scenario of Kashmir, I request the Union Government to take immediate steps to launch a Special Employment Generation Programme for the eligible persons of Kashmir. This gesture will resume the distressed youth from the morass of alienation and reassure the alienated sections of Kashmir about the generosity of welfare State.
