Grievance of the petitioner is that even though petitioner was promoted on the post of Teacher Grade-I (Lecturer) vide order dated 31/12/1988 and therefore he was required to be given benefit of Selection Scale on completion of 10 years from the date which would be due on 1/1/1999 however, respondent-Director Secondary Education Rajasthan, Bikaner passed an order on 30/4/2008 granting such Selection Scale w.e.f. 31/3/2005 and thus it was delayed by as many as six years. Petitioner has in the meantime retired from service and this reflected all his retiral dues and family pension.
Having regard to the controvesy involved in the present writ petition, I require the petitioner to make a suitable representation to the Director Secondary Education Rajasthan, Bikaner, who shall examine correctness of the grievance of petitioner and if eventually petitioner was found entitled to Selection Scale, same shall be granted to him w.e.f. 31/12/1988 when he was last promoted on the post of Teacher Grade-I (Lecturer). Representation shall be decided within a period of two months from the date of its making.
Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
