learned APP Mr.P.D.Bhate.
The
convict prisoner has preferred this petition seeking parole leave for
approaching Hon’ble Apex Court for filing appeal against the
dismissal of his Criminal Appeal No.226 of 2006 by this Court on
2.2.2007. The convict prisoner has been convicted by the
Addl.Sessions & Fast Track Court, Khambhaliya for the offences
punishable under Sections 363, 376 and 506(2) of IPC vide judgment
and order dated 13.12.2005 in Sessions Case No.16 of 2004 and
sentenced him to suffer RI for seven years and to pay fine of
Rs.18,500/-, in default, to undergo further 13 months and 15 days.
He was released during the month of September, 2007. During this
period, he could have preferred appeal before the Hon’ble Apex Court
which he has not done. Hence this petition is rejected.
