The sole grievance of the petitioner is that the appeal filed by him
before the Inspector General of Police, Bareilly Range, Bareilly
against the order dated 21.1.2010 passed by the Deputy Inspector
General of Police, Pilibhit may be decided.
Learned Standing Counsel states that the appeal shall be decided
expeditiously.
In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with the
direction to the Inspector General of Police, Bareilly Range,
Bareilly to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner expeditiously
preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt
of the certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated upon the merits
of the case which shall be examined by the Inspector General of
Police, Bareilly Range, Bareilly, in accordance with law.
