JUDGMENT
Thottathil B.Radhakrishnan, J.
Government Pleader appears for respondents 1 to 3. Notice to
respondent No.4 dispensed with.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned
Government Pleader.
3. The school described in paragraph 2 of the writ petition is
stated to be having certain controversies in relation to some litigations
as regards the right of management . The Parent Teacher Association is
to have the freedom to have its meetings in terms of the provisions of
the Kerala Education Act and Rules. The Headmaster is the convenor.
4. Under such circumstances, we order that if there is any law
and order situation by any person in relation to the holding of Parent
Teachers Association meeting, the police will ensure that such situation
is prevented . Being a school, the police will also ensure that there is
no situation which would not be congenial to the appropriate running

of the school and any complaint by the Headmistress/Headmaster will
be taken care of promptly by respondents 1 and 2.
5. A copy of this judgment will be communicated to the third
respondent- Distirct Educational Officer, Kollam also since he is the
receiver of the school in question, as of now, going by the statement of
the petitioners.
Writ petition is ordered accordingly.
