J U D G M E N T
The petitioner challenges Ext.P1 amendment to the Kerala Stamp
(Prevention of Under Valuation of Instruments) Rules, 1968. The
petitioner has now, along with I.A.No.1601/2011, produced Ext.P3
representation filed by them before the 1st respondent. The petitioner
confines their relief for the present for a direction to the 1st respondent
to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3 representation expeditiously.
2. The learned Government Pleader submits that Ext.P3 is
seen dated 29.6.2007 and Ext.R2(c) is dated 19.3.2007. Almost all of
the grievances of the petitioner have been suitably redressed, as is
clear from Ext.R2(c). The counsel for the petitioner would contend that
still other grievances survive.
3. Having heard both sides, I dispose of this writ petition with
a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P3,
after affording an opportunity of being heard to a representative of the
petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within three
months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
