The Commission directs the PIO to provide the names and marks of the successful candidates with regard to
Advt. No.3/2007 for ticket collector to the Appellant by 15.2.11.

ORDER
Background
1. The Applicant filed an RTI application dt.16.3.10 with the PIO, RRB, Ajmer seeking information
against 6 points with regard to Advt. No.3/2007, 3/2008, (Goods Guard, Ticket Collector, Traffic Apprentice)
etc. Shri R.K.Sharma, PIO replied on 23.4.10 furnishing point wise information. He also provided the cut off
marks against all the categories and stated that the results in respect of Advt No.3/2008 have yet to be
finalized. Not satisfied with the reply, the Applicant filed an appeal dt.7.5.10 with the Appellate Authority
reiterating his request for the information. The PIO replied on 16.6.10 providing further clarification.
Decision
2. During the hearing, Shri R.K.Sharma, PIO submitted that results have been finalized only with regard
to Advt. No.3/2007 for Ticket Collector and for others they are still being finalized. He added that the
Appellant was not a candidate and that there was no public interest involved in th enclosure.
3. The Commission after hearing the submissions of both sides, directs the PIO to provide the names
and marks of the successful candidates with regard to Advt. No.3/2007 for ticket collector to the
Appellant by 15.2.11 and the Appellant to submit a compliance report to the Commission by 18.2.11.
4. The appeal is disposed of with the above directions.
