ORDER
Taking
into consideration the report submitted by the Circle Police
Inspector, Jambusar, in the opinion of this Court, the concerned
Police Officer could not take proper steps in securing the presence
of the complainant and the witnesses though their addresses are there
and they contacted their family members. As per this report, it is
the apprehension shown by the wife of the complainant that the
complainant is not attending the Court because of the fear of the
accused persons. This is sorry state of affairs that the police is
not thinking to provide police protection to the complainant and
witnesses who are the main witnesses in the serious trial.
Under
the circumstances, the DIG, Vadodara Range, Gujarat State is directed
to take interest in the matter and should take appropriate steps for
securing the presence of the complainant and witnesses in the trial
before the trial Court.
