Facts
:-
Called for hearing today dated 12.10.2010. Parties have not appeared
before the Commission. Hence, it has been decided to dispose of the matter on
merits.
2. It appears that the appellant has a family dispute with his father-in-law, a
BSNL employee. Vide RTI application dated 20.7.2009, the appellant had
sought personal particulars of his father-in-law. The requested information was
denied by the CPIO under section 8(1)(j) of the RTI Act vide letter dated
17.8.2009. Hence, he has filed the present complaint before the Commission.
3. We have carefully gone through the RTI application and find that there is
no harm if the following information regarding Shri Boddu Pandu Rangaiah is
given to the appellant viz : (a) date of his joining service with BSNL and (b) pay
scale with break-up. No other information needs to be supplied to the appellant.
4. The order of the Commission may be implemented in 03 weeks.
