The appellant had asked in RTI Application regarding the list of PGT Geography
teachers posted in different KVS in Kanpur, U.P. and LTR.

Detail of required information:-

1. Kindly provide the list of PGT Geography teachers posted in different KVS in
Kanpur U.P. as well as Luchnow U.P. and for how many years each of them has
stayed at the respective KVS. Kindly provide it in the following format:-

Serial Number, Name of the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Kanpur and Lacknow, name of the
PGT Geography teacher posted in the KV (mentioned in column 2), period of stay as
PGT geography in the KV KV (mentioned in column 2) in the format: from dd/mm/yyyy
to 17/05/2008.

2. kindly provide me a detailed explanation of the following :-

under what conditions a KVS teacher can make a genuine request of his / her
transfer to his / her hometown if he/she less than three years (LTR) of service left
before his /her retirement ? kindly itemize these conditions as points.

3. Why her (Appellant’s Mother), her request of transfer under LTR has not been
entertained by KVS so far and under what conditions and when from now, her
aforesaid request will be entertained.

The PIO replied.

As per record, Smt. S.P.Bajpai PGT (Geog) did not apply for her transfer as per
transfer guidelines, she has given only two choice places, Kanpur/Lucknow, instead of
five choices that is why she could not get her transfer under LTR category.

In so far as the information related to Point no. 2 of the appellant it is submitted
that the appellant may follow transfer guidelines affected from 14/03/2006 and amended
from time to time uploaded in KVS website www.kvssangathan.nic.in.
The First Appellate Authority ordered: –
