Background
1. The RTI request was filed on 27.4.07. The Appellant wanted
information about Grant of Study Leave to Dr.Ghazala Javaid,
R.O(Unani). The CPIO replied on 11.5.07 providing some information.
Not satisfied with the reply, the Appellant filed his first appeal on
26.6.07 reiterating his request for the information. The First Appellate
Authority replied on 20.7.07 providing some clarification. Not satisfied
with the reply, the second appeal was filed before the CIC on 9.2.08.
The CIC requested for comments on 2.5.08 and the reminder was sent
on 15.7.08. The comments were provided by CCRIUM on 22.7.08.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner,
scheduled the hearing on December 26, 2008.
3. Mr.Suhail Mustafa Adhami, Research Officer & PIO and Mr.Athar Ali,
AD(A) represented the Public Authority.
4. The Appellant Dr.Mushtaq Ahmed was not present during the hearing.
Decision
5. The reply to the second appeal and the final comments from CCRIUM
were received by the Appellant and by the Commission after the
second appeal was filed. Since there is no response to the information
provided, from the Appellant, it is presumed that the Appellant is
satisfied with the information. The case is therefore disposed off.
