Background

Sh.   Sanjay   Kumar,   the   Appellant,   through   an   RTI   application   dated 
13.06.2009,  sought  information  from  the   CPIO,  PHQ,  Delhi   regarding  alledged 
illegal   Police   Posts   in   Delhi.     The   CPIO,   Delhi   Police,   vide   his   reply   dated 
3.07.2009, replied to the Appellant and provided certain information.   Aggrieved 
with   the   reply   to   the   CPIO,   the   Appellant   filed   a   first   appeal   before   the   First 
Appellate Authority (FAA), who vide his order dated 9.08.2009 upheld the order of 
the CPIO.  Hence, this present appeal before the Commission.

2. The matter was heard on 11.03.2010.

3. Sh. Sanjay Gupta, the Appellant was present.

4. Smt.   Achala   Rampal,   ACP/RTI/PHQ,   Sh.   Mansur   Ali   Syed,   AA   and 
Sh.   Manges   Katiyal,   DCP/HQ   represented   the   Respondent   Public 
Authority.

During the hearing the Respondent submits that infact, the Appellant sought 
the clarification from the Police Department, on a News item in a Newspaper and 
he has been appropriately replied to.  

During the hearing the Appellant also accepts that the desired information 
has been provided to him.

After hearing the parties and on perusal of the documents the Commission 
finds that the complete requisite information has been supplied to the Appellant. 
Hence, no interference is required in the orders of the Respondent.

With this order the matter is disposed of.

Copy of the order be given free of cost to the parties.
