JUDGMENT
The writ petition is filed with the following prayer:-
i) declare that the petitioner is entitled to get
the interest @ 12% for the security deposit of
Rs.51,30,300/- deposited at the time of auction
from 1-4-2000 till 1-11-2000 and to be adjusted
towards the arrears of the kist liable to be paid by
the petitioner for the conduct of toddy shop Nos.1
to 20 in Mallappally Excise Range in Pathanamthitta
District.
There is no counter affidavit. The petitioner may file an
appropriate representation before the second respondent within a
period of two months from today in which case the matter will be
duly considered by the second respondent with notice to the
petitioner and appropriate orders in accordance with law will be
passed within another four months.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
