Facts
By his letter of 17.6.2008, the appellant had requested for information on 06
points relating to the transfer policy of the Department and the identity of officers
against whom complaints have been received and the action taken by the department
thereon and the matters related therewith.
2. The CPIO had responded to him through his letter dated 16.7.2008. The
appeal against the order was dismissed by the Appellate Authority.
3. The present appeal has been filed against the order of CPIO/AA.
4. The matter was heard on 30.1.2009. The appellant appeared before the
Commission. The public authority is represented by the officers named above. It is
the say of Shri Gaur that requisite information has been furnished to the appellant.
The appellant has complained of corruption by the lower level functionaries of the
Department and is generally satisfied with the information furnished to him. If he
desires to seek any specific information, he will be at liberty to approach Shri Gaur
who would respond to him promptly.
DECISION
5. The appeal is dismissed subject to the above directions.
