                    ORAL ORDER

2 10/8/2010 This petition under Article 226 of the

Constitution is filed by five persons, residents of

Barh Nagar, in public interest. It is the complaint of the

petitioners that Barh Nagar Parishad has undertaken

several public projects in which financial irregularities

have been committed. Allegations are made particularly

against the Junior Engineer Rana Yasvant Singh.

Though the financial irregularities are alleged against

the Junior Engineer, he has not been impleaded as party

respondent. Besides, the bare statements made in the

writ petition are not supported by documentary evidence.

On vague statements made in the writ

petition, we do not propose to issue direction for

inquiry. Besides, the petitioners have also complained

to the local authorities. The District Magistrate, Patna

has also directed an inquiry to be made.

No case for indulgence is made out.

The petition is summarily rejected.
