Heard Mr.S.Nagamuthu, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and
Mr.K.V.Vijayakumar, learned Special Government Pleader, who has taken notice on
direction from this court for respondents.
2. By consent of counsel on either side the writ petition itself is taken
up for final hearing.
3. This writ petition has been filed for a direction against the first
respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2005.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that he was dismissed from service
on the basis of the findings submitted by the enquiry officer. He has also made
his further representation to the first respondent-Government to reconsider the
decision taken by the disciplinary authority on certain grounds.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition,
without going into merit of this case the first respondent is directed to
consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2005 and pass
appropriate order in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. With the
above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There is no order as to
costs. Consequently the connected W.P.M.P.No. 838 of 2006 is closed.
