                      W.P.(C) No. 14480 OF 2010
              .........................................................................

The prayer of the petitioner is to issue a writ of mandamus

directing the 1st respondent to accept motor vehicle tax in

respect of the stage carriage bearing No. KL.3/M.4473 and to

renew the fitness certificate of the vehicle without insisting for

production of original R.C. Book of the vehicle .

2. When the matter came up for consideration before this

Court on 06.05.2010, ‘urgent notice’ was ordered to the second

respondent by Speed Post and thereafter as per the interim

order dated 13.05.2010, the first respondent was directed to

accept the tax in respect of the vehicle for the present quarter

without insisting for the Registration Certificate. The learned

Counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim

order, the tax has been accepted and that nothing further

survives in the Writ Petition.

W.P.(C) No. 14480 OF 2010

2

In the above circumstance, this Court does not find it

necessary to issue any further orders in the Writ Petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.

P.R. RAMACHANDRA MENON,
JUDGE.
