FACTS
:
By his letter of 2.8.2008, the appellant had requested for copies of
documents/file notings relating to his promotion from the rank of Supdt.
Engineer to Addl. Chief Engineer for the vacancy year 2005-06, as held by
MOD, DOPT & UPSC etc. Vide letter dated 15.9.2008, the CPIO had
agreed to provide copies of requisite documents on payment of prescribed
fee. The appellant has filed the appeal dated 18.11.2008 before this
Commission wherein he has alleged that no documents have been provided
to him.
2. Heard on 16.10.2009. Appellant not present. The public authority
is represented by the officers named above. Shri Mittal produces a copy of
their letter dated 21.11.2008 vide which documents containing 100 pages
of information have been provided to the appellant. The appellant is not
present before the Commission to contest this claim.
DECISION
3. In view of the above, the appeal has become infructuous and is
dismissed.
