                          W.P.(C) No.11840 of 2010
                        -----------------------------------------
Dated this the 6th day of April, 2010

                                   JUDGMENT

The petitioner is a stage carriage operator conducting services on

the route Kallolippu-Iritty-Thalassery-Kozhikode-Medical College with stage

carriage vehicle bearing Reg.No.KL-13/Q 4525. The timings were settled

on 7.5.2001. Subsequent to the settlement of his timings, a number of new

services have been introduced on the route. There has also been

surrender of timings by other operators. As a result of the above

subsequent events, the petitioner prays that his timings are necessary to

be revised. The petitioner has submitted a request for the revision of his

timings. He prays for an early disposal of his request. The learned Senior

Government Pleader has no objection to such a direction being issued.

In the above circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing

the respondent to consider the request of the petitioner for the revision of

his own timings, evidenced herein by Ext.P1, in accordance with law and to

pass appropriate orders thereon as expeditiously as possible and at any

rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this

judgment.
