Background
1. The Appellant filed an RTI request dt.22.7.08 with the CPIO, BSNL,
Faizabad. Het wanted information against 7 points regarding tenders
floated by the BSNL. The CPIO replied on 28.7.08 providing point wise
information. The Appellant filed an appeal dt.2.8.08 with the Appellate
Authority. The Appellate Authority replied on 8.8.08. Not satisfied
with the reply. the Appellant filed a second sappeal dt.6.10.08 before
the CIC.
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner,
scheduled the hearing on January 23, 2009.
3. The Appellate Authority was not present during the hearing.
4. The Appellant’s representative Mr. Varisht Narain Singh was present
during the hearing.
Decision
4. The Commission directs the CPIO to provide complete information
based on the Appellant’s first appeal, to the Appellant, within 20 days
of receipt of this Order.
5. The appeal is disposed off.
