FACTS
Heard today dated 22.6.2011. Appellant not present. The IAF is
represented by Wg Cdr P. Shukla, Wg Cdr R. A. Kumar and Wg Cdr Ashish Dubey.
They are heard.
2. It is noticed that vide RTI application 19.6.2010, the appellant had
sought voluminous information about the pay scales of the below officers rank right
from the First Pay Commission to Sixth Pay Commission. Wg Cdr. R A Kumar
submits that the information regarding Third, Fourth and Fifty Pay Commissions,
which is been maintained by the public authority, has already been provided to the
appellant. As regards the First and Second Pay Commissions, he submits that this
information is not available.
3. It is not clear as to what precise information the appellant is looking
for. The purpose for which the information is being sought is also not clear. In the
circumstances, we deem it expedient to suggest the appellant to fix up a meeting with
Wg Cdr R. A. Kumar (CPIO) on a mutually convenient date and time, for seeking
clarification, if any, in the matter.
4. The matter is being disposed of accordingly.
