ORAL
ORDER

Rule.

Mr.L.R. Poojari, learned APP, waives service of notice of rule on
behalf of the respondent-State.

This
is an application moved by lady convict-Manjulaben Manubhai Kapadia
seeking temporary bail for a period of 60 days on account of her
illness. She being aged 60 years, and the treatment given by the Jail
Authority has not cured her, therefore, this application has been
moved.

Heard
learned APP and perused the documents produced before this Court.

It
appears that she is being regularly treated at SSG Hospital,
Vadodara, as and when she was suffering from diarrhoea and fever
both. Although there is no cause much less a serious cause to be
considered for grant of temporary bail, it needs to be mentioned
while rejecting this application that appropriate treatment to the
convict applicant shall be given, particularly as she assumes to have
been suffering from jaundice, all required tests shall be carried out
as per the guidelines of the experts of the hospital.

This
application is rejected. Rule is discharged.

Copy
of the order shall be sent to the Jail Authority which in turn shall
communicate to the accused-convict.

(Ms.

Sonia Gokani, J.)
