Respondent: Mr. J. S. Meena on behalf of Mr. Eda Raja Babu, PIO & ADM(S);
The Appellant states that he received the complete information and wishes to withdraw the
appeal. The appellant had to file an appeal since part information has been given initially and
subsequently the PIO was demanding the additional fees for the complete information though the
period of 30 days was over. The PIO is warned to supply all information within 30 days and in
the event of a delay he must supply the information free of cost as per Section 7(6) of the RTI
Act. Failure to do this will result in appropriate penal action being taken by the Commission
under Section 20(1).
Decision:
The appeal is withdrawn.
This decision is announced in open chamber.
Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.
Any information in compliance with this Order will be provided free of cost as per Section 7(6) of RTI Act.
