JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking for a
direction commanding the respondents to consider the petitioner
also for promotion to the post of Health Publication Assistant
pursuant to Ext.P1. He started his career as Junior Health
Inspector Grade II, on a provisional basis in the year 1988. In the
year 1995, he was selected and appointed through the Kerala
Public Service Commission to the very same post. He gained one
promotion as Junior Health Inspector Grade I and later posted as
Health Inspector on 24.7.2002.
The learned Government Pleader on instructions submitted
that pursuant to Ext.P1, 8 persons have applied seeking for
promotion as Publication Assistant. The selection is yet to be
finalised. It is also submitted that the petitioner’s name also will
be considered along with the names of other persons, before
appointing Publication Assistant. This is recorded and
accordingly, this writ petition is closed.
