(MUMBAI NORTH EAST) : Kurla-Mahul goods railway line is required to be converted into passenger railway line. The Ministry of Railway has agreed to this in practice. It is understood that the Railway Board has submitted a proposal to the Maharashtra Government regarding rehabilitation of project-affected people of Kurla-Mahul Railway line. There is an urgent need to expedite the proposal and to start the project at the earliest.
