2 12/08/2011 Petitioner is supposed to be the son of one Tara

Devi who was the second wife of late Sudarshan Ram,

who was stated to be an Assistant Sub Inspector of Police

when he died in harness in the year 2007.

Based on the genealogical table annexed as

annexure-1, claim of the petitioner is that there were

three daughters from the first wife Bimla Devi and all of

them are now married and happily settled. Liability has

been left behind by the erstwhile employee with regard to

the streams of Tara Devi. There are three sons and two

daughters. All of them seem to be minor except the

present petitioner. He filed an application before the

Superintendent of Police, Motihari on 22.06.2007 as

would be evident from the so called postal receipt

annexed with the writ application. Since till date the

petitioner has not been informed about his status, he has

approached the High Court.

If such an application has been received by the

Superintendent of Police, Motihari i.e. respondent no. 4

and as no decision has been taken, according to the

petitioner, he is directed to process the application of the

petitioner and inform him about his status as well as with

regard to his right of such appointment within a

reasonable time frame of three months from the date of

production or communication of a copy of this order.

This writ application stands disposed of with the

direction aforesaid.
