        The Appellant was present in person.

        On behalf of the Respondent, the following were present:­

2. We heard this case through videoconferencing. The Appellant and one 

of the Respondents were present in the Gandhi Nagar studio of the NIC. Some 

other   Respondents   were   present   in   the   Bangalore   studio.   We   heard   their 

submissions.

3. The Appellant had wanted the photocopies of the appointment orders 

issued to 10 employees, their typing papers and the notification of vacancy. The 

CPIO had provided photocopies of appointment orders for six of the employees

while claiming that no appointment order had been issued to the remaining four. 

He   had   also   severed   the   postal   address  of   five   of   these   employees  while 

providing the copies of their appointment orders. Besides, he had not provided 

him with the copy of the vacancy notification. After hearing the submissions of 

both   the   parties,   we   are   of   the   view   that   the   CPIO   should   provide   the 

photocopies of the appointment orders without deleting any address etc. We 

therefore direct him to provide to the Appellant within 10 working days from the 

receipt of this order the photocopies of the appointment orders of all the known 

employees without deleting any detail and that of the vacancy notification, if 

available. If the vacancy notification is not available even after renewed search, 

the CPIO shall clearly state so in his reply.

4. With the above directions, the appeal is disposed off.

5. Copies of this order be given free of cost to the parties.
