जय प्रकाश ( हरदोई) : अध्यक्ष महोदय, मेरा संसदीय क्षेत्र हरदोई उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ के पास स्थित है। शिक्षा की द्ृष्टि से यह क्षेत्र काफी पिछड़ा हुआ है। हरदोई में केन्द्र सरकार के कार्यालय, निगम, प्रतिष्ठान, इत्यादि बहुतायत में हैं। इसके अलावा लखनऊ व उसके आसपास स्थित ऐसे कार्यालयों में कार्यरत हरदोई निवासियों की संख्या भी काफी है। ऐसे कर्मचारी प्रतदिन, हजारों की संख्या में, यहां से अपने कार्य स्थलों में आते जाते हैं। यही नहीं, सशस्त्र सैन्य बलों व केन्द्रीय अर्ध सैनिक बलों में तैनात जवानों व अधिकारयों के सैंकड़ों परिवार हरदोई में रहते हैं, ऐसे परिवार के बच्चों के लिए उत्तम, सुलभ व नि:शुल्क शिक्षा देने के लिए, हरदोई में, कोई केन्द्रीय विद्यालय नहीं है। इसके लिए ऐसे कर्मचारी काफी समय से मांग करते आ रहे हैं।
अत: मैं केन्द्र सरकार से अनुरोध करता हूं कि हरदोई में, अगले शिक्षा सत्र से ही, एक केन्द्रीय विद्यालय खोलने की स्वीकृति प्रदान करें।
