                                                       ORDER

  Sh.Bhanudas Sakharam Dhotre, the Appellant, filed an RTI application 6.10.2008 
seeking certain information regarding his dismissal from service.   The PIO, vide letter 
dated 22.10.2008 denied the information on the ground that in terms of Section 24 of the 
RTI Act he is not bound to provide the information sought as the same does not pertain to 
allegations   of   human   rights   violation   or   corruption.     Aggrieved   with   the   reply,   the 
Appellant filed an appeal before the First Appellate Authority (FAA).   The FAA vide 
decision dated 4.12.2008 upheld the reply of the CPIO, hence the present appeal before 
the Commission. 

The Commission vide its letter dated 3.05.2011 sought the comments of the PIO 
on the present appeal.  Accordingly, the PIO vide its letter dated 10.06.2011 submits that 
the Appellant was dismissed from the service under Rule 37(b) of CISF, Rule 1969, read 
with   article   311   (2)   of   the   Constitution   of   India   and   the   information   sought   by   the 
Appellant is administrative in nature and does not pertain to human rights violation or 
corruption.

On careful perusal of the relevant documents on file and also having regard to the 
facts and circumstances of the present case the Commission is of the considered view that 
the information sought by the Appellant does not pertain allegations of corruption or 
human   rights   violation   therefore   no   interference   is   called   for   on   the   part   of   the 
Commission.

The matter is disposed of on the part of the Commission.
