श्री चेतन चौहान (अमरोहा) : अध्यक्ष महोदय, दिल्ली से कलकत्ता जाने वाला राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग-२४ बहुत बिज़ी रहता है। यह राजमार्ग उत्तर भारत से पूवर्ोत्तर भारत तक मिला हुआ है। इस राजमार्ग में केवल दो लेन हैं। फलस्वरूप आये दिन एकसीडैंटस होते रहते हैं। यह राजमार्ग कई बार तो ६-८ दिन बंद रहता है और हर दो चार दिनों में कई घंटे जाम रहता है। मुरादाबाद इस राजमार्ग पर स्िथत है जहां से प्रतिवर्ष एक हज़ार करोड़ रुपये के माल का निर्यात विदेशों में होता है। कई विदेशी लोग खरीदारी के लिये आते जाते हैं। राजमार्ग बहुत व्यस्त रहने के कारण बहुत परेशानी होती है। ट्रेफिक जाम रहने के कारण दुर्घटनायें तो होती ही हैं साथ में समय की बरबादी भी होती है। मैं आपके माध्यम से केन्द्र सरकार से मांग करता हूं कि राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग-२४ को दो लेन के स्थान पर चार लेन वाला राजमार्ग बनाया जाये जिससे आने-जाने वाले लोगों को परेशानी न हो। यह कार्य अत्यंत आवश्यक है।
