The following were present:
Appellant: Mr. Narain Singh
Respondent: Mr. AS Yadav, PIO
The PIO has provided the information but the Appellant is not satisfied with it. Basically
the Appellant has a grievance that a drain has been blocked in front of his house. He has
been filing various Right to Information Applications trying to get proof of this and he
alleges that there has been negligence on the side of the public authorities. It would be
fruitful if he did an inspection of files relating to the works in his street at the Sanitation
and Engineering Departments. The Appellant is willing to do this inspection.
Decision:
The Appeal is allowed.
The PIO Mr. AS Yadav will facilitate inspection of records at the Sanitation and
Engineering Departments on 25 August 2009 and 26 August 2009 respectively.
This decision is announced in open chamber.
Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties.
Any information in compliance with this Order will be provided free of cost as per Section 7(6) of RTI Act.
