1.    The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
      hearing related to the appellant's telephone connection, for February 13,
      2009.
2.    Both the Appellant and the Respondents were absent at the hearing.

Decision

2. The Commission received a letter from Mr. K.K. Jha, Divisional Engineer
(Operation), BSNL, Darbhanga stating that the grievance of the appellant in
this case has been settled and requesting the Commission to dispose off the
appeal in view of the amicable settlement of the grievance. The Respondent
also enclosed a letter from the Appellant expressing his satisfaction with the
information provided and requesting for withdrawal of his appeal.

3. The appeal is accordingly disposed off.
