BACKGROUND
:
The Appellant Shri Chaitanya Rameshchandra Shukla vide his RTI
application dated 21.11.2008 has asked for xerox copies of his answer sheets for
optional subject-II for Apppendix-3(IREM) Examination 2006 conducted by Railway
Board whose result was declared on 12.11.2008.
2. Dissatisfied with the information given by the CPIO, the Appellant approached
the First Appellate Authority vide letter dated 12.01.2009. Having received no
decision from the FAA, Appellant filed the second appeal on 15.05.2009.
1. The Bench of Mrs. Omita Paul, Information Commissioner, heard the
matter on 16th June, 2009.
2. Shri V. K. Samuel, PIO and Shri Sanjiv Kumar Mathur, Dir. Finance
Railway Board represented the Respondents.
3. Neither the Appellant Shri Chaitanya Rameshchandra Shukla nor his
representative was present.
DECISION
6. The Commission heard the Respondent. The Respondent submitted that the
information asked for by the Appellant had been provided vide letter dated
06.01.2009. The copy of the information provided was placed on record.
7. The case is thus disposed off.
The decision announced on conclusion of hearing. Notice of this decision be
given free of cost to the parties.
