Applicant sought copy of a particular Policy dated 1952 regarding allotment of flats for
rehabilitation, and details of subsequent changes in that policy. Public Information Officer
replied that no such policy is existent. He also informed that in view of the non existent of
such policy, reply of subsequent question is not possible. First appellate Authority also
upheld this order. Then he filed second appeal.
He contends that such a policy exists, and the PIO is giving false information.

The appellant was asked if he can show any basis for claiming the existence of the policy of
1952 which he is referring to. He is able to offer no evidence to show the existence of such a
policy. In view of this the appeal cannot be sustained.
Decision:
The appeal is dismissed.
