ORDER
Background
1. The RTI application dated 29.12.10 was filed by the Applicant with the PIO, GGM (Marketing &
Client services) Rites Ltd, Gurgaon. He sought details of LTC advance and claim payments along
with names and designation of incumbents, details of HRA payments, incumbents and surety names
and designation and details of Medical advance, hospital estimate and final payments along with
names and designation of incumbents etc. The PIO replied on 10.2.11 informing the Applicant that
the number of documents sought by him is around 424 and asking him to pay Rs 848/ as
photocopying charges for the same. The Applicant then filed his first appeal on 28.4.11 stating that
he had deposited Rs 848/ and that he was provided with only 367 pages. The Appellate Authority
in his order dated 25.5.11 informed the Appellant that the PIO has provided the complete
information as available in the records and has also returned Rs 114/ . Not satisfied with this reply
the Appellant filed second appeal before the Commission.
Decision.
2. The Commission adjudicated the matter in the absence of both parties.
3. The Commission noted from the Appellate Authority’ response that complete information as
available in the records has been provided to the Appellant for the years 200708, 200809, 200910
on CD. It is also noted that Rs 114/ have been refunded in lieu of 57 additional pages which were
not available. Since it is clear that no further information is available with the Public Authority, no
further information need be disclosed.
4. The Appeal is accordingly disposed off and the case closed.
