Heard Mr. Piyush Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner
as well as Ms. Puja Arora, learned Advocate holding brief of Mr.
S.C. Gulati, learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2.
Upon perusal of the record, I find that though the petitioner’s
application has been considered under the Agricultural Debt
Waiver and Relief Scheme 2008, whereby he has been provided
relief to some extent, but he is not satisfied with the same. He
seeks remedy as has been provided to similarly situated person
namely Sri Sunil Kumar, S/o Sri Lalta Prasad and for this purpose
he has already made a representation to the opposite party no. 2.
Therefore, without entering into merit of the case I hereby dispose
of the writ petition finally with direction to the opposite party no. 2
to consider the petitioner’s application and take decision
expeditiously say within fifteen days after receipt of certified copy
of this order.
