Facts

:

1. Both the parties were heard on 1/8/2008.

2. The appellant stated that the respondent has taken about eight years to
resolve a dispute relating to settlement of bills. In this context, he said that he
has pleaded before the Commission for providing compensation for harassment
for over eight years or so when he was making attempt to resolve the disputes
relating to settlement of bills.

Decision:

3. The appellant has neither asked for any information nor was he denied of
any information relating to public activity. There are no provisions under the Act
for providing compensation on the ground of prolonged dispute between the
parties. The appellant is advised to approach Consumer Forum, which may do
the needful.

4. Since there is no denial of information, this appeal was unnecessary and
is thus disposed of.
