By his letter of 06/10/2008, the Appellant had requested for the statement of PF
Account of his wife Shruti Verma from 01/01/2003 to 31/12/2006. Assistant CPIO had
informed the Appellant vide letter dated 16/12/2008 that in the absence of PF Account
No., it was not possible to provide this information.
2. Hence, the present Appeal.
3. The matter was fixed up for hearing on 21/08/2009. The parties did not appear.
Hence, it was decided to dispose of the matter on the basis of material on record. It
appears to the Commission that the plea taken by Shri V.V.B. Singh, ACPIO, that in the
absence of PF Account No., it is not possible to trace out the account and provide
information, appears to be correct.
DECISION
4. In view of the above, the Appeal is dismissed.
