FACTS

The matter, in short, is that by his letter of 17/07/2008, the Appellant had sought
broad based information on variegated issues. This was responded to by CPIO in bits and
pieces. In total, information contained in 43 pages was furnished to the Appellant.
Dissatisfied with this, he has filed the present Appeal before the Commission on the
ground that he has not been provided the core information sought by him.
2. The matter was heard on 14/07/2009. The Appellant is present along with Shri
Vinay Gupta. The public authority is represented by the officer named above. Parties
were heard. The Appellant would submit that he will be satisfied if he is given specific
information on paras 4&7 of his RTI application.
DECISION
3. As regards para 04, Shri Garg is hereby directed to provide information to the
Appellant in regard to only the CPWD Head Office located in Delhi.
4. However, as regards para 07, Shri Garg would submit that this information is not
available with him and that it would be available with Director, L&DO, Nirman Bhawan,
New Delhi. In this view of the matter, Shri R.K. Sinha, Director, L&DO, Nirman
Bhawan, New Delhi, is directed to provide this information to the Appellant.
5. Let a copy of the RTI application be enclosed with this order.
6. The order of the Commission may be complied with in 04 weeks time.
