Patna High Court – Orders
Smt.Sushila Devi vs The State Of Bihar on 25 January, 2011
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT PATNA
                                  CWJC No.367 of 2011
SMT.SUSHILA DEVI WIFE OF KARAN KUMAR
                    THAKUR, R/O VILLAGE-DHANGA EAST TOLA,
                    P.S. ARER, DIST-MADUBANI............PETITIONER.
                                          Versus
THE STATE OF BIHAR THRU THE CHIEF
                    SECRETARY, GOVT OF
                    BIHAR.......................................RESPONDENT.
                                     -----------

04/ 25-Jan-2011 Nobody appears on behalf of petitioner. Learned

counsel for the State points out that the prayer made in

this writ petition filed as Public Interest Litigation is

vague and for implementation of a document annexed as

Annexure-1 which appears to have been prepared by the

petitioner and it has been described as “Ready for

Operation-Vision 2020”.

Several problems such as corruption, food,

environment, evasion of tax, counterfeit currency and

landless have been mentioned in that document. Learned

counsel for the State is correct that the prayer in this writ

petition is too vague and bereft of necessary details for

being taken as PIL.

On the last two dates the matter was adjourned on

the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner but no such
2

prayer for adjournment has been made today. In the facts

of the case, the writ petition is dismissed.
