संसदीय कार्य मंत्री तथा संचार और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री (श्री प्रमोद महाजन): अध्यक्ष महोदय, आपकी अनुमति से मैं यह सूचित करता हूं कि सोमवार, २२ जुलाई, २००२ से प्रारम्भ होने वाले सप्ताह के दौरान निम्नलखित सरकारी कार्य लिया जाएगा:- आज की कार्यसूची से बकाया सरकारी कार्य की किसी मद पर विचार। वित्तीय आस्तियों का प्रतिभूतिकरण और पुनर्निर्माण तथा प्रतिभूति हित का प्रवर्तन अध्यादेश, २००२ का निरनुमोदन चाहने वाले संकल्प पर चर्चा और वित्तीय आस्तियों का प्रतिभूतिकरण और पुनर्निर्माण तथा प्रतिभूति हित का प्रवर्तन विधेयक, २००२ पर विचार और पारित करना। परक्राम्य लिखत (संशोधन) विधेयक, २००२ पर विचार और पारित करना। राज्य सभा द्वारा पारित किए गए रूप में उपभोक्ता संरक्षण (संशोधन) विधेयक, २००२ पर विचार और पारित करना। निम्नलखित विधेयकों पर विचार और पारित करना:-
(क) जैव वविधता विधेयक, २०००
(ख) कम्पनी (दूसरा संशोधन) विधेयक, २००१
(ग) इम्पीरियल लाइब्रेरी (अनुबन्ध वधिमान्यकरण) निरसन विधेयक, २००२ राज्य सभा द्वारा पारित किए गए रूप में निम्नलखित विधेयकों पर विचार और पारित करना:-
(क) गर्भ का चकित्सकीय समापन (संशोधन) विधेयक, २००२
(ख) दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय (संशोधन) विधेयक, २००२
(ग) राष्ट्रीय सहकारी विकास निगम (संशोधन) विधेयक, २००२
(घ) तटरक्षक (संशोधन) विधेयक, २००२ निम्नलखित पर चर्चा और मतदान :-
(क) वर्ष २००२-२००३ के लिए अनुपूरक अनुदान मांगें (रेल)
(ख) वर्ष १९९९-२००० के लिए अतरिक्त अनुदान मांगें (रेल)
श्री शंकर प्रसाद जायसवाल (वाराणसी) : अध्यक्ष महोदय, मैं चाहता हूं कि अगले सप्ताह की कार्य सूची में मेरे इस विषय को शामिल किया जाए कि उत्तर प्रदेश भारी बिजली की कमी के कारण ४ घंटे से २० घंटे तक विद्युत की मार झेल रहा है जिसमें यहां के उद्योग धन्धे कुटीर उद्योग, किसान तथा आम उपभोक्ता सभी त्रस्त हैं। आए दिन यह जानकारी शासन की ओर से दी जाती रही है। इसलिए प्रदेश में विद्युत का उत्पादन बढ़ाए जाने की आवश्यकता है।
(ULUBERIA): The following items may be included in the next week’s agenda:- There is wide dissatisfaction in the Media world due to growing attacks on Media persons and the Press. The freedom of Press should be discussed in the House to ensure the freedom of expression in the country. The agricultural workers of our country are in great distress. They are not getting work. The situation has worsened due to severe drought and flood in many parts of the country. The Central Legislation for Agricultural Workers are being discussed for the last two decades but no such law has been passed so far. This should be taken up and a Central Act for agricultural workers may be enacted in this Session.
श्री प्रहलाद सिंह पटेल (बालाघाट): अध्यक्ष महोदय, अगले सप्ताह की कार्यसूची में निम्नलखित विषय जोड़े जायें :- म.प्र. की रानी अवंती बाई सागर परियोजना की दांयी तट नहर को शीघ्र पूरा करने की आवश्यकता है ताकि अधूरी सिंचाई योजनायें पूरी हो सकें। बालाघाट के नक्सल प्रभावित जिले की नदियों पर पुल बनाने की आवश्यकता है। विशेषकर चंदन नदी पर आरंया से खैरलिंजी के बीच पुल की आवश्यकता है।
SHRI VARKALA RADHAKRISHNAN (CHIRAYINKIL): I request you to include the following list of items for the next week’s agenda:- The delay in the establishment of an LNG Plant named as LNG Petronet in Kerala State has caused much hardship to the development of the State in the power sector. It has become an urgent necessity. I request the Central Government to take immediate steps to commence the work.MR. SPEAKER: Shri Radhakrishnan, please stick to the text because you are not allowed to make a speech.
SHRI VARKALA RADHAKRISHNAN : (ii) The plight of coirworkers in the matter of employment for a long time due to fall in marketing conditions. There is no sale either in the international market or in the home market. I request the Central Government to intervene in the matter by restoring concessions which they were enjoying previously.

श्री रवीन्द्र कुमार पाण्डेय (गरिडीह) :अध्यक्ष महोदय, अगले सप्ताह की कार्यसूची में निम्नलखित विषयों को जोड़ने की कृपा की जाये:- “देश में खासकर झारखण्ड राज्य के बेरमों, गोमियां, गरिडीह टेलीफोन एक्सचेंजों के द्वारा अनियमित एस.टी.डी. सेवा को नियमित और प्रभावी बनाने की अपेक्षा।” ” कोल इंडिया लमिटेड, सरकार और ट्रेड यूनियनस के बीच नैशनल कोल वेज एग्रीमैंट एन.सी. डब्ल्यू.ए. में सेवा अवधि के दौरान मृत कर्मचारियों के आश्रितों को नियुक्ति प्रदान करने में सैन्ट्रल कोल फिल्ड्स लमिटेड द्वारा व्याप्त अनियमितताओं को दूर करने तथा पति पत्नी किसी एक की भी मृत्यु होने की स्थिति में और मृतक के दामाद-पुत्री को नियुक्ति प्रदान करने की अपेक्षा।”
SHRI P.C. THOMAS (MUVATTUPUZHA): The following items may be included in the next week’s agenda:- Devolution of more powers to States by considering 50 per cent of the revenue from each State to be given thereto and reducing the work load of the Centre to the strategy and All India Subjects – Implementing Federalism. Giving farmers the right to fix the price of their produce by a proper legislation empowering its implementation.
SHRI VILAS MUTTEMWAR ((NAGPUR): The following items may be included in the next week’s agenda:- Acute drought conditions prevailing in many parts of the country. Recovery of money from the defaulting parties advanced by the banks.
