ORDER
Background
The Applicant, through his RTIapplication dated 25.08.2010, filed with the PIO, National Institute of
Malaria Research, New Delhi, sought information against 8 points relating to the transfer case of one
Shri Bhopal Singh who, according to the Applicant, was first transferred from Delhi office to Chennai
office and then from Chennai office to Delhi office. The PIO, on 21.09.2010, furnished pointwise
information to the Applicant, copy of which the Applicant had not annexed to the present petition. The
Applicant thereafter filed his 1stappeal with the AA on 04.10.2010 which, according to him, was not
replied to by AA. He, therefore, filed the present petition in the Commission on 19.11.2010 alleging
that the PIO has not furnished any information to him.
Decision
2. During the hearing, the Appellant stated that he is only interested in receiving the details of
attendance and the place of presence of Shri Bhopal for 136 days prior to joining Delhi office from
Chennai, for which information has not been furnished to him by the Respondents . The
Respondents, agreed to provide the information as available in the records.
3. The PIO is therefore directed to supply the above information to the Appellant. If it is found to
be unavailable, the same may be communicated to the Appellant formally. The information to be
given to the Appellant by 5.6.11.
4. The Appeal is disposed of with the above direction.
