Name of the Public Authority   : CPIO, Corporation Bank, Head Office, P.B.No.88, Mangaladevi Temple Road, Pandeshwar, Mangalore - 575 001. The Appellant was not present in spite of notice. On behalf of the Respondent, Shri Srikant was present.   2. We heard this case through videoconferencing. The Appellant was not  present in spite of notice. The Respondents were present in the Mangalore  studio of the NIC. We heard their submissions. 3. The Appellant had wanted to know a few details about the original title  deeds furnished in connection with a certain loan case. The CPIO had denied  to disclose any such information on the ground that the matter was pending  before the District Consumer Redressal Forum, Delhi. The Appellate Authority  had also endorsed this decision. After carefully considering the submissions of  the Respondents and the facts of the case, we are of the view that the CPIO  CIC/SM/A/2010/000163 should provide the desired information as there is no provision for the denial of  any information merely because some matter is pending before a court of law  unless of course there is an express prohibition ordered by the relevant court  against the disclosure of such information. 4.
