Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel as well as
counsel for the Power Corporation.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner filed
Writ Petition bearing No.1610 (SS) of 2002 before this Court, which was
disposed of with the direction that the representation preferred by the
petitioner may be considered and disposed of in accordance with law vide
order dated 13.3.2002. He further submits that in pursuacne to the order of
this Court notices have been issued to the respective parties and the decision
is awaited at the behest of the DIOS. It is also submitted that two persons
identically situated have been adjusted and promoted on the post of Lecturer
by the opposite parties on 27.1.1999, but the case of the petitioner has not
been considered in accordance with the Government Order dated 17.4.2003.
Since the decision at the behest of the DIOS is awaited, therefore, it is
directed that the DIOS may take a decision by the next date.
List in the last week of August, 2010, as fresh.
In the meantime, learned Standing Counsel may seek instructions/file counter
affidavit.
