The Gujarat High Court Wednesday reserved its order on the petitions of five former ad-hoc fast track court judges whose services were terminated.
The petitioners approached the high court seeking direction to the state government to retain them as ad-hoc additional district judges.
A bench comprising Chief Justice S.J. Mukhopadhaya and Justice J.B. Pardiwala, after hearing government counsel Karina Calla, high court advocate Shalin Mehta and counsel for the petitioners, reserved the order.
The five former judges were among the 66 fast track judges whose services were terminated.
