On 15.03.2013, it has been announced by the lawyers that their indefinite strike in protest against the police action at their agitation on March 6 and 7.
The decision to end the strike was taken after an understanding evolved between the agitating lawyers and the state government at a meeting held with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
Lawyers proceeding on the strike on March 7 in protest against police lathi charge and use of tear gas after violence during their demonstration at the state assembly here on March 6 that was held for pressing up on their demand charter.
Again no March 7 clashes and violence between lawyers and police marred the stir and also forced the police to resort to lathicharge, use of tear gas and even rubber bullets
