Nalsar University introduces courses in the area of Aerospace and Defence Law and relates policies

Nalsar University, one of the leading law universities is all set to reach new heights with two new courses in the sphere of Aerospace and Defense Law.

For the academic year 2018-19: Nalsar University has introduced two-year Master’s Degree in Aviation Law and Air Transport Management (MALATM) and a one-year PG Diploma in Aviation Law and Air Transport Management (PGDALATM).

Established by the Act 34 of 1998, Nalsar University of Law has been ranked as one of the best law universities in India. The University endeavors to encourage quality research in contemporary legal issues. One of the existing but neglected areas in the Indian legal territory is Aerospace and Defence Law. To fill this gap and to promote further studies and research in the Aerospace Law, the University has established the advanced Center for Aerospace and Defense Laws (CADL) with the objective of promoting the development of Aviation and Space Laws and related policies.

The courses are conducted broadly under two dedicated wings of the University- Nalsar Pro, which is the distance education branch of Nalsar and the Centre for Air & Space Law (CASL), which studies and contributes towards the legal development in the emerging sectors of aviation and space. CASL has introduced innovative courses in Aviation, Space, Telecommunications, GIS and Remote Sensing with the objective to cater to the unprecedented growth and commercialization of the Aviation, Space and Telecom sectors. CASL’s initiative aims to institutionalize an academy-industry partnership in these sectors which is a first of its kind, not just in India but perhaps in the entire Asia-Pacific Region.

Offering a Master’s Degree in Aviation Law and Air Transport Management (MALATM); Master’s Degree in Space and Telecommunication Laws (MSTL); PG Diploma in Aviation Law and Air Transport Management (PGDALATM); and PG Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing Laws (PGDGRL), the university is ready to touch skies.

Providing a whole new level of learning experience, the university offer sessions through case studies and project assignments and e-learning through web platform during the online sessions.
