Dugal, Grewal & Partners announces the strategic merger of TMT Law Practice’s litigation division, effective August 1, 2025. This significant consolidation will transfer over 500 active matters, the complete litigation client portfolio, and a team of six experienced lawyers to Dugal, Grewal & Partners.
The merger brings together two complementary practices with shared expertise in commercial disputes, intellectual property, regulatory matters, media & entertainment, telecommunications, and arbitration across India’s Supreme Court, High Courts, and specialized tribunals.
Angad Dugal, formerly a Partner at TMT Law Practice, co-founded Dugal, Grewal & Partners alongside Govind Grewal. The transition follows TMT Law Practice’s organizational restructuring after Managing Partner Abhishek Malhotra’s designation as Senior Advocate in December 2024.
Among the senior professionals joining Dugal, Grewal & Partners is TMT Litigation Partner Sonal Chhablani, who brings a decade of specialized experience in media and entertainment law, copyright, trademark, and design law. Her expertise in both litigation and transactional matters strengthens the merged practice’s comprehensive service offerings.

Trust was our priority and it certainly helped that most clients who have been with the firm since inception already know Angad and have worked with him.
