Punjab: In Amritsar A girl of who was 22 years has been gang raped in a moving car by the four men here.
ADCP Crime Harjit Singh Brar told as per the statement of the girl, she was forced into a car by some men at 8 pm yesterday when she was waiting for a bus to reach home.
The girl alleged that she was repeatedly raped by the four accused for at least 45 minutes and later thrown out of the vehicle, police said, adding the accused are absconding.
The victim is working with a cellular phone company here.
The girl was admitted to a Government Civil Hospital where her medical examination was carried out.
A team of doctors have confirmed intercourse but said no injury marks were found on her body, according to the Amritsar Police
Brar told call details of the girl’s phone show that she received a lot of calls from some particular numbers before and after the incident.
Police suspect that the kidnappers were already known to the victim.
