A CBI court today sentenced a suspended government official to three years in prison in a disproportionate assets (DA) case lodged 20 years ago.
CBI Special Judge Sarvjeet Kumar held Central Excise and Customs department’s former inspector Samarendra Singh guilty of amassing assets more than known sources of his income and sentenced him to three years in jail.
